The Department of Architecture in the O’More College of Architecture and Design at Belmont University seeks applications for a faculty position beginning August 1, 2024, either as a tenure-track faculty or professor of practice (see “Required Qualifications” below).

During the application process, applicants will be asked to address how their Christian faith informs and influences their personal and professional life, and teaching philosophy, and how it will support their contributions to Belmont’s Aspirational Aims. Context The Department of Architecture is housed within the O’More College of Architecture and Design (CAD), a creative community of architecture, fashion design & merchandising, and interior design that serves its undergraduate students by providing professionally oriented programs integrated with liberal arts-based education. Required Education | Required Qualifications: A terminal degree in architecture or a closely related field (e.g., Ph.D., M.Arch., or foreign equivalent) is required for appointment in a tenure-track position. Applicants without acknowledged terminal degrees but holding similar appropriate credentials and/or a record of significant professional accomplishment will be considered for appointment as Professor of Practice. |
