ULI Nashville Content Before Cocktails - The Paseo South Gulch – Walk the Walk – Celebrating Historic Buildings and Creating a Modern, Mixed-Use Neighborhood
Join ULI Nashville for a Content Before Cocktails tour of The Paseo South Gulch.
Developed by Somera Road, The Paseo South Gulch is the first development in downtown Nashville to receive height modifications for Prima, its office and residential tower, due to the preservation and creative reuse of the historic Voorhees and the Antiques buildings.
This tour will be a first for ULI Nashville as well. After attendees hear from Somera Road and Metro Nashville Planning Department staff about the project's path to entitlements, we’ll divide our attendees into groups to visit six stations at The Paseo and hear from Somera Road and members of the project team discussing the development’s
- reuse of historic structures,
- integration of public art,
- construction challenges and innovations,
- unique engineering opportunities, and
- elevated architecture and landscape architecture.
We’ll finish the tour with bites and beverages from The Paseo’s newest tenant, Maiz de la Vida!
