    225 Polk Avenue: New Creative 'Life' for an Iconic Nashville Building
     
    225 Polk Avenue served as Nashville’s Main Public Library for more than 35 years until the new downtown library opened in 2001. Since then, 225 Polk Avenue remained abandoned until its current owners purchased it with the intent to restore the original structure and give the building new life as creative office space.
     
    The revitalization of this architectural treasure relied on a fierce commitment to celebrate the original design intent, and to embrace the preservation and repurpose of as many original materials and as much architectural integrity as possible.
     
    Hastings will keep you informed, entertained, and awed with the intriguing redevelopment and design stories of the renaissance of 225 Polk Ave.
