ULI's Advisory Services met with ULI Nashville, Metro Nashville, and Nashville leadership including over 70 local stakeholders to develop ambitious and realistic comprehensive recommendations for the future of Second Avenue and its environs. The December bombing that shocked our city unveiled a time-sensitive need to save and enrich the historic center of downtown via a market-based strategy. Seven national industry experts were convened by ULI to consider real estate dynamics, urban design, equitable redevelopment principles, historic preservation, and more when identifying the opportunities and means to build back better from that disaster.
