Moody, founder of Moody Nolan, the nation's largest African American owned and operated design firm in the country and recipient of over 51 awards from the American Institute of Architects, including the 2021 AIA National Architecture Firm Award.

    Join ULI Washington in celebrating Black History Month with a conversation between Pathways to Inclusion Committee Co-Chair Scott Willis and Curtis J. Moody, founder of Moody Nolan, the nation's largest African American owned and operated design firm in the country and recipient of over 51 awards from the American Institute of Architects, including the 2021 AIA National Architecture Firm Award. The award is the highest honor that the AIA bestows on an architecture practice and recognizes a firm that has consistently produced distinguished architecture for at least 10 years.

    Curt will be sharing his personal background and professional journey, the founding and growth of Moody Nolan, the firm’s portfolio of showcase projects and work with historically black colleges and universities, the successful transition of the firm's leadership to his son, Moody Nolan CEO Jonathan Moody, and his current passion projects and legacy.
