The ULI Nashville NEXT initiative provides opportunities to identify, connect, and elevate the next generation of leaders of mid-career professionals age 35 to (approximately) 45 years. NEXT provides a range of benefits to participants as they continue to develop their leadership skills and build lasting relationships amongst peers, with ULI Leadership and throughout the ULI network.
PROGRAMS and INITIATIVES
Lunch with a Leader: Lunch with a Leader offers informal lunch discussions that provide NEXT members with the opportunity for a small-group discussion with key leaders from Nashville. Past speakers have included Charles Robert Bone, President/CEO of Bone McAllester Norton PLLC, Courtney Ross, Chief Economic Development Officer, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Tony Giarratanna, President, Giarratanna, LLC.
NEXT Cohort Program: Launched fall 2019 and available to all ULI Nashville NEXT members, participants are assigned to a cohort led by an engaged NEXT member. These informal, small groups meet regularly to discuss topics decided on by each group. Each group sets its meeting locations and schedules.
NEXT Socials: Gather with other NEXT members over cocktails for networking. The choice of venues allow NEXT members to highlight their involvement in innovative projects around the city.
ULI Nashville NEXT is managed by a Steering Committee of NEXT members, led by a Chair and Assistant Chair. Steering Committee member terms run 1-2 years. The Steering Committee manages NEXT committee meetings and NEXT event & program logistics.
ULI Nashville NEXT is a member-only initiative specifically tailored to the issues facing mid-career professionals between ages 35-45. Participation in NEXT programs and events is available only to ULI NEXT-aged members and on a limited, first-come/first-served basis.
