CALL FOR 2012 ENTRIES!
The mission of the ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Awards is to celebrate, educate, and reinforce examples of excellence in land use, development, and design.
Award entries are judged on criteria that support ULI’s commitment and leadership in best practices in the use of land/real estate, including exemplary design and development, sustainability, financial viability and commitment to community.

Application and Selection Process
- Completed applications submitted to ULI Nashville, postmarked NO LATER than February 10, 2012.
- Applications must be accompanied by high-quality images that best illustrate the special features and merits of the project
- The ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Awards jury reviews all submissions and selects winners.

Eligibilty Requirements for Submission
All types of development projects that meet these eligibility requirements may be entered into consideration for the ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Awards:
- The project must be financially stable and operating; must demonstrate to be a sound investment. In the case of public development, project must demonstrate a sound investment of public funds and success in impacting a community or neighborhood.

The project must achieve a high standard of excellence in several areas—design, development, construction, sustainability, etc.

The project must demonstrate relevance to the current and future needs of the community in which it is located.

The project must be worthy of emulation.
Projects completed from 2004-present are eligible.
The Awards program is open to all submissions—not just ULI members.
Judging Criteria• innovation in resourceful use of land and design
• leadership in design
• contribute to the community/respond to a societal need
• relevant to contemporary issues
• reflect the special character of region or community
• employ a public/private partnership
• demonstrate an environmental sensitivity, enhancement, protection or compatibility
• prove financially viable/successful
