ULI Nashville proudly presents its 2nd annual Excellence in Development Awards celebration on May 20, 2010 at the Noah Liff Opera Center from 5:30 – 8:00 PM.

ULI Nashville’s Excellence in Development Awards reflects the mission and values of The Urban Land Institute. The Awards entries are judged on criteria that support ULI’s commitment to best practices in the use of land, and leadership in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.

One of ULI’s guiding principles is that the achievement of excellence in land use should be recognized and rewarded. With each reward, colleagues and the public becomes more aware of the benefits of superior planning, design, and development. 

The ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Awards supports this, recognizing the full development process and team of a project – construction, economic viability, design, and community.

Call for Entries will be mailed in early January 2010. All program information can be found on this site, http://Nashville.uli.org.

Deadline for application submission is February 19, 2010.

ULI Nashville’s Awards program is designed to be consistent with the national ULI program, Award for Excellence; having the same or similar submission guidelines, criteria and deadline. Should an applicant to the ULI Nashville program choose to ALSO apply to national, ULI has agreed to accept the ULI Nashville application in lieu of the national application: A  COPY of the Nashville application may be sent to the  National award program. ULI's national award, Award for Excellence, application fees still apply.

Winners and applicants of the ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Awards are celebrated at the awards event. Each winner receives a commemorative certificate in addition to an engraved custom-made award.

The Awards and the event recognize and reward camaraderie, community, and excellence, to encourage best practices and emulation.

Winners and Event Sponsors are recognized in a full-page color ad in Urban Land, the magazine of the Urban Land Institute. Local press media has covered the event and winners in the past.
